"Rick the Cat"

Here we have have an orange cat chillin' on the bed with a remote at his paw tips. Not only is this a pretty funny scene, but the style of the painting seems to match the mood of the scene. it's relaxed, just like Rick the cat. Maybe when you look at this painting you see your own cat which reminds you of how weird, funny, or annoying he is (getting cat hair all over your blankets!).  Whatever the case, I hope it makes you smile.

I Created this painting to showcase my funny cat. I found him sitting on the bed propped up against the pillows right next to the remote, so I took a picture of him. This is truly Rick the cat, he's a fat cat who lounges around all day and acts like a dog most of the time. In this project, I was tying to capture his personality, the memory, and practice a loose style of acrylic painting. I guess I succeeded.
